About

Queen Visits Fortnum and Mason's
I have been working as a stained glass artist working in West London for 20 years, specialising in traditional leaded windows. I undertake both domestic and public work and have a particular interest in ecclesiastical glass. My love of narrative in religeous art combined with my Divinity degree make me particularly suited for this type of commission.

In 2010 I was awarded a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship and completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Stained Glass at Central Saint Martins. I continue to work closely with QEST: in 2012 I had the honour of meeting Her Majesty the Queen.

I have exhibited at Buckingham Palace, The Victoria and Albert Museum, St James' Palace, Fortnum and Masons and Farlow's of Pall Mall.

I am wholly committed to passing on my making skills and host a YouTube Channel with hundreds of videos explaining the many processes involved in the making of stained glass. Sophie's Stained Glass

I teach one to one classes and have written a workshop companion book with extensive explanations and photographs, useful for beginner and professional alike:
Stained Glass, A Makers Guide to Creating, Installing and Repairing Leaded Glass
